Denison Witmer is an introspective singer songwriter. Instead of pigeon-holing him with overly sentimental packaging, I used simple primary colors and projected text on the walls of his apartment to create an environment that was somber, but not sappy.

Ester Drang: Goldenwest
Ester Drang plays a somber form of neo-psychedelia with a sparkling clarity of production. I collaborated with their label head and shot the images at an airport. The images were then halftoned and splashed with primary color to create a woozy, sundrenched atmosphere.
Damien Jurado: This Fabulous Century
Damien Jurado is a singer songwriter whose work moves from introspective love songs to songs about serial killers. This being a retrospective, live, "bootleg" album, I assembled a rorschach test out of his press images and roughed it up using a photocopier to give it the necessary "unofficial" quality.
